Evening falls, darkness falls, everyone gets a lantern and goes out to pick fresh raspberries. At the end of the picking, we gather for a special cocktail workshop, where we learn to make two cocktails based on the agricultural produce of the Patel House. The evening will take place on 13.8.26, between 19:00 and 21:30. You are invited to stay after the workshop to enjoy the music, the cafe and the vintage collection of the Patel House. First part of the entertainment: the picking The picking will take place at sunset and will glide into the darkness, so that it will be done by the light of special lanterns. Please arrive to the picking in closed shoes. There are bees and lavender flowers in the network houses, so those who are sensitive should prepare accordingly. We meet at the Patel House, which is located at the entrance to the settlement of Shani Livne. After the arrival of all those registered, we will have an introductory talk and explanation before leaving. The distance is a 2-minute walk to the growth houses. While walking, there is an explanation of the magical Yatir Forest. Pickers eat and enjoy unsprayed berries: raspberries, lingonberries and sometimes blueberries and wild strawberries, depending on the season. Part two of the entertainment: The workshop You don't have to leave the house for a good cocktail. You don't even have to buy special bar equipment. And after learning the basic principles, there is no better feeling than making yourself a great drink at the end of a long day (or on a Friday afternoon). In the workshop, we will prepare two cocktails, based on fresh, seasonal and locally grown ingredients, most of which are grown on site. We will also learn about professional bar tools and alternative tools that can be found in every kitchen. Each recipe will include different raw materials - alcohol, fruits and herbs, the combination of which will create different and surprising layers of flavor, which you can recreate at your next Friday dinner.
